2016 Textile Design Challenge, (Creator and Host ) San Antonio, TX
Partnered with SAY Sí for its first annual “Design Challenge.” SAY Sí student-artists were asked to create an original textile design that would be printed on fabric and made into decorative pillows. A panel of judges from San Antonio’s design and art industries voted and chose the top three designs. The winning artist were each awarded a scholarship. The First place winner had the opportunity to see his artwork printed and fabricated. Furthermore, all proceeds from the sales of each pillow went directly back to SAY Sí.
